1. Do I have to schedule an appointment for the departure inventory?
No. Check-out control takes place between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m., as soon as you have notified Reception Office that you are ready to leave.
2. Do you lend baby beds or chairs?
Yes, on request.
3. Do you rent sheets or towels?
Yes. The following options are available (rental):
  • sheets (12 € per bed);
  • towels (12 € per person);
  • household linen (dishtowels, hand towels) at €8 per kit;
  • table linen (tablecloth and napkins) €12 per kit.
4. Are pillows and blankets provided?
Yes
5. Where can I find the inventory of my accommodation?
The inventory is accessible by clicking on a button of the same name located on the page of each accommodation. It can also be sent to you by email, on request.
6. Where is it possible to park my vehicle? Is it possible to come with two cars?
  • Underground parking is available (one space per apartment, maximum height: 1.90m).
  • Should you require it and upon request, an additional parking place can be made available without extra charge in the car park next to the complex.
7. Can I precisely choose my apartment?
You can mention your preferences when making your reservation. When possible, we will assign you the apartment that best suits your needs.
8. Are babies counted in the accommodation capacity?
Yes, babies are counted in the accommodation capacity, the maximum number of people in the apartments must not be exceeded.
9. Is smoking allowed in the apartments?
The apartments are non-smoking, the same applies in all common areas.
10. Is the residence accessible to people with reduced mobility?
Only one apartment for 6 people, located on the ground floor, has an adapted bathroom. For more comfort, please contact Campsite La Presqu’île de Giens, which has suitable facilities and accommodation.
11. What if I arrive after 8 p.m.?
Do not panic if you’ve got a booking: please contact the reception so that we can give you the late arrival procedure, by phone +33 (0)4 94 42 13 86 or by e-mail info@residence-lagabiniere.com.
12. Where can I store my bike or my diving equipment?
  • Each apartment features a private box located behind reception; you can store any equipment there for diving, beach toys, etc ;
  • A bicycle rack is available in the underground car park.
13. Do you rent planchas?
No, planchas are not available for rental.
14. Are animals allowed in La Gabinière Apartment Hotel?
No, both in the common areas and in the apartments.
15. What are the possible arrival and departure times for the apartments?
Arrival from 4 p.m., departure before 10 a.m. Except in special cases during certain periods of low season, after agreement with Reception.  
16. Do I have to pay a deposit on arrival?
  • Upon arrival, a 120€-deposit will be requested for cleaning purposes. It will be returned on departure if the rental is left perfectly clean.
  • An additional 300€-deposit is payable on arrival. The deposit is retained in case of damage to the rental.

Bikes – Cycle paths

1. Does the town have cycle paths?

2. Is it possible to go to the beach by bike?
No, the coastal path is pedestrian only.
3. Do you rent bikes?
No. Rental possible from our partner Locabike (https://www.loca-bikes.com).

Porquerolles – Port Cros – Le Levant (The "Golden Islands")

1. Can I bring my bike to the islands? Are there suitable trails?
Yes, only on Porquerolles, for a supplement of around € 17 per bike. Rental possible on site, in the village.
2. Can I buy tickets at reception office?

3. How often are the maritime shuttles to Porquerolles?
In high season, approximately every 30 minutes. Visit the website of TLV maritime company: https://www.tlv-tvm.com.
4. How long takes the crossing to the Golden Islands?
  • 20 minutes to Porquerolles (departure from La Tour Fondue);
  • about 1 hour to Port-Cros (departure from Hyères Harbor);
  • approximately 1h30 to Ile du Levant (departure from Hyères Harbor).

Reception – Booking conditions – General information

1. What are the available payment options?
We accept payments by credit card, bank transfer, or in cash.
2. Is the apartment hotel open year-round?
No. The apartment hotel only opens between from the end of March until the beginning of January.
3. What are the opening hours of the reception?
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.;
  • Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.;
  • Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.;
  • Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.;
  • Weekly closing on Thursday ;
  • Variable hours depending on the season.
4. Is it possible to come with a trailer or with a boat?
No
5. Where is it possible to park my vehicle? Is it possible to come with two cars?

6. My child is under 18 and wants to stay at La Gabinière with his friends. Is it possible?
No. In accordance with the internal regulations, minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal representative during their entire stay.
7. Are visitors allowed?
  • Yes during the day, without supplement.
  • If your guests wish to spend the night (only if the accommodation capacity of your apartment allows it), tourist taxes are applicable.
  • In any case, please inform the reception.

10. Is it possible to access the underground car park at any time?
Yes. A remote control will be given to you upon your arrival. We are of course counting on your discretion after 11 p.m.!
11. Does the residence have shared sanitary facilities?
A dedicated space is available for you to shower on your way back from the beach or when you get out of swimming.
12. Where can I store my bike or my diving equipment?

13. What is the public transport around the residence?
Bus line 67 runs between Hyères (town center & SNCF train station) and La Tour Fondue, terminus 100 m from Reception Office.
14. Where are the supermarkets located?
You will find hypermarkets and supermarkets within a 10 km-radius, in the town of Hyères: Casino, Chronodrive, Géant Casino (+ drive), Leclerc, Grand Frais, Intermarché (+ drive), Carrefour Market, Lidl, etc.
15. Where and when can I go to a local market ?
A market takes places every day in the area (Tuesday in Giens, Sunday in the Port of Hyères, etc.).
16. Does the Wi-Fi network cover the whole residence? What is the price?
Yes, and it is included in the rental price, for all apartment guests (ticket provided upon arrival).
17. Is there a laundromat?
Yes. It is open every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Prices (washing powder included):
  • € 6 for 6 kg;
  • € 2 for the dryer.
18. Are animals allowed in La Gabinière Apartment Hotel?
No, both in the common areas and in the apartments.
19. When should I pay the deposit and the balance for my stay?
  • Deposit: on booking ;
  • Balance: 30 days before arrival.
20. How can I use my credit note?
By mentioning your customer number transmitted by our services when processing your file.
21. Am I required to take out cancellation insurance? What does your campsite cover if I don't subscribe to it?

22. Is it possible to cancel my reservation or postpone my stay? What are your general conditions?
  • The booking conditions can be downloaded and attached to the reservation contract, upon signature of which they are deemed to have been accepted.
  • As part of an internet reservation (which is equivalent to a contract), they must be checked before proceeding to the payment stage.
23. What are the possible arrival and departure times for the apartments?
Arrival from 4 p.m., departure before 10 a.m. Except in special cases during certain periods of low season, after agreement with Reception.

1. Does the residence have a grocery store?
No, but the O’Pelican grocery store, located within the Campsite La Tour Fondue, just next to the residence, welcomes you from the end of March to the beginning of November, 7 days a week. Bread, pastries, general food.

No, but the Restaurant O’Pelican, located within the Campsite La Tour Fondue, just next to the residence, welcomes you from the end of March to the beginning of November, 7 days a week.
